Planting Seeds, Becoming Dreams
There’s a moment, just before planting, when the beds are bare.Freshly cleared. Dark, open soil.
To some, it might look like emptiness. But to us, it is everything.
This is the void: the place of infinite potential.A space where anything can be created.
And this season, we are filling it.
Over the past weeks, we’ve been planting: deeply, joyfully, with muddy hands and full hearts.Potatoes tucked into the earth. Beans reaching for something unseen. Beetroot, lettuce, kale, broccoli, cabbage, carrots…Aubergines, tomatoes, mangetout, chickpeas, watermelon, radish, and more.
Each seed a quiet act of faith. Each bed a promise.
There is something profoundly humbling about this work. You place something so small into the soil… and trust.Trust in the rain, the sun, the unseen life beneath the surface.Trust in Mother Nature, who has been doing this far longer than we have.
And then, slowly, miraculously abundance arrives.
Ostara reminds us that growth doesn’t happen all at once.It begins in the unseen.
The same is true for this project.
What started as a vision: a feeling, a whisper, a dream; is beginning to take form in the physical world. We are building children’s play spaces. We are gathering in circle: women sitting together under the moon, remembering, softening, returning. We are growing food not just to sustain ourselves, but to nourish our community: vegetables, ferments, kimchi, kombucha, foraged teas, natural remedies…
Little by little, the threads are weaving together.
And perhaps most beautifully of all…we are finding our people.
Not by force. Not by searching too hard. But through resonance.
The ones who arrive and it just feels easy. The ones who understand without too many words. The ones who feel like… home.
Family, not by blood, but by choice. By alignment. By shared vision.
There is something deeply reassuring in this. A quiet knowing that we are not building this alone.

This season feels like a threshold. A moment where things begin to gather momentum.
There is excitement here. There is wonder. There is that slightly surreal feeling of watching something you once imagined… begin to become real.
Not fully formed yet, but unmistakably on its way.
So we continue.
Clearing space.Planting seeds.Trusting the process.
Holding the vision, while staying rooted in the soil beneath our feet.
Because if the land teaches us anything, it’s this:
When you tend with care, when you trust the cycles, when you stay connected, what is meant to grow… will grow.
With soil under our nails and hope in our hearts,🌿 Splatt Farm Growing Community
