Permission to Rest Retreats
🌿 A different kind of retreat
This is not a structured, scheduled day of teaching or performance.
It is a gently held space in nature where you are invited to slow down, step out of pressure, and reconnect with yourself.
We live in a world that rewards pushing through, even when we are tired, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Over time, this can pull us away from our bodies, our needs, and our natural rhythm.
This retreat offers the opposite.
A space to pause.
To listen inward.
And to remember what you actually need.

🌿 What happens in the day
You will be welcomed into a simple, grounded rhythm:
-
A welcome consecration circle to arrive and set the tone
-
Gentle guidance to help you check in with your body and energy
-
A range of nature-based activities to choose from throughout the day
-
A shared, nourishing lunch
-
A silent integration period for rest and reflection
-
A closing circle to land and complete the day
You are not expected to perform, keep up, or do anything in particular.
Everything is an invitation. Nothing is required.
🌿 How it works
Rather than being told what to do, you are supported to listen inward.
A simple practice guides the day:
Check → Choose → Do → Reflect
You may rest.
You may move.
You may create, play, or simply be still.
There is no right way to do this day.

🌿 The space
The retreat takes place in a living field: part garden, part wild space, part sanctuary.

There are areas to:

-
rest and be still
-
move freely and release energy
-
create and explore
-
connect with nature
-
or simply exist without expectation
The land is held lightly and respectfully, allowing space for both quiet and expression.

🌿 Space holding
You will be supported throughout the day by gentle space holding.

This means you are not left alone, but you are also not directed.

Support is available if you need grounding, reflection, or reassurance, while always allowing you to stay in your own process.

🌿 Who this is for
This retreat is for you if you are:
-
feeling tired, burnt out, or overwhelmed
-
craving rest without guilt
-
disconnected from your body or needs
-
looking to connect with and learn to be with your emotions
-
wanting space without pressure or performance
-
curious about slowing down in a different way
🌿 Who this is not for
This is not a structured teaching workshop, therapy space, or intensive emotional processing environment.
It is a gentle, self-led experience held in nature.

🌿 Optional camping
You are welcome to extend your stay and camp on the land either side of the retreat.
Camping is simple, peaceful, and immersed in nature.
(Details and booking available separately)

🌿 In essence
This is a space to stop pushing.

To soften.
To listen.
And to begin again from rest.

🌿A simple rhythm you can return to throughout the day
Every healing journey is unique, but here’s how we hold you through it.

This is not something to get right: just a soft way of staying connected to yourself as the day unfolds.
01
Pause
A moment to stop and arrive in yourself.

Take a breath. Let your attention drop out of thinking and into sensing.

There is nothing to do here except arrive.
02
Notice
Gently check in with what is present.

How is your body feeling?
What is your energy like?
What emotions, sensations, or impulses are here?

There is no need to change anything. Just observe.
03
Choose
From what you notice, allow something to arise.
You might feel drawn to rest, move, create, connect, release, or simply stay still.

There is no right choice. Only what feels true in this moment.
04
Reflect (or rest)
After engaging, take a moment to land.

Notice how you feel now.
Has anything shifted?
Do you need to continue, pause, or rest?
This is not analysis. Just gentle awareness.
Rest is always an option here.
🌸 A Note on the Journey
Echoes of the Experience
“I came to rest, but I left with a whole new way of being. For the first time in years, I remembered what it feels like to be safe in my body, in my breath, in my own company.”
— Rosa, retreat guest
“Casa Pachamama didn’t change me. It helped me remember myself. The land held me while I cried, and the quiet support helped me find strength I forgot I had.”
— Liam, silent retreat guest
“I arrived burnt out and disconnected. I left grounded, clear, and so much more connected to the Earth, my needs, and my truth. I’ll never forget the barefoot mornings in the garden.”
— Sophie, self-guided retreat guest
“This place felt like medicine — not in a loud or dramatic way, but in the way nature heals you slowly when no one’s watching. I let go of something I’d been carrying for decades.”
— Dan, bespoke retreat guest
“It was the first time I was invited to ask: what do I really need? And then… to actually honour it. That changed everything.”

— Ella, camper
