Community Open Days 2026
Celebrating nature, community & the seasons
We’re excited to invite Spaxton residents to a series of seasonal open-days at Splatt Farm in 2026. Each month from April to October, we gather to enjoy the land, learn together, and celebrate nature’s rhythms as a community.
These afternoons are relaxed, family-friendly and open to all — gardeners and non-gardeners alike! Whether you'd like to get your hands in the soil, enjoy a cup of tea in nature, or simply connect with neighbours, you are warmly welcome.
💚 Why We Do This
Splatt Farm Growing Community exists to support:
✅ People’s wellbeing — through nature, rest and gentle learning
✅ Community connection — growing local friendships and resilience
✅ Environmental care — wildlife-friendly gardening & seasonal growing
We grow food, community, and a deeper connection to the land — together.

🤝 Get Involved
We always love meeting new local friends. There is no cost to attend, although donations to support our project are very welcome. Bring something to share at a picnic day, your curiosity, and maybe a friend or neighbour.
If you'd like to: join a garden session, volunteer at events, bring ideas or skills or just come enjoy a cuppa in nature, we would be delighted to welcome you.
