Exploring Nature's Bounty: Our New Additions

At Splatt Farm Gardens, we're committed to nurturing the land and enhancing its natural beauty. Over the past year, we've planted over 500 trees, including hedgerows and the beginnings of a vibrant food forest. Imagine walking through orchards filled with apples, cherries, plums, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, figs, and more. Our fruit bushes and rhubarb add to the symphony of flavors waiting to be discovered.

Abundant Harvests and Sustainable Farming

Our sunrise vegetable gardens and polytunnel are a testament to our dedication to sustainable farming. We believe in growing food that's not only delicious but also environmentally responsible. Our gardens boast a diverse range of crops, including peas, potatoes, broccoli, broad beans, French beans, lettuce, rocket, asparagus, onions, pumpkins, courgettes, butternut squash, herbs, beetroot, tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, peppers, and melons. As the plants mature, we offer veg boxes for sale, allowing you to take home the freshest produce directly from our gardens.

A Vision for the Future: Community-Owned Food Growing

But our commitment to sustainability doesn't stop there. In the coming year, if all goes according to plan, Splatt Farm Gardens will develop into a community-owned food growing cooperative veg box scheme. This exciting initiative aims to bring the local community closer to their food source, promoting sustainability, and fostering a sense of shared responsibility for our environment.
